About Gary...
Gary Ritchie has spent recent years managing, and contributing to, web applications, animations, and illustrations for the Department of Energy, America’s top production homebuilders, and international clients. He knows how to engage and nurture cross-functional teams and lead specialists in user experience design, illustration, and web application development. He brings to his projects leadership training and deep experiences in digital communications and the design and development of a wide variety of media assets.
As a concept artist, he contributed to Digital Media Workshop’s sci-fi adventure game, Prominence, with hard-surface environment and prop designs, digital paintings, and 3d model prototypes. Among other accolades, the game went on to win Best Visuals in the “Best of The Year” roundup at IndieGames.com and “Aggie Award Nominations” for Best Writing – Drama, Best Gameplay, and Best Sound Effects from AdventureGamers.com.
Earlier in his career, Gary designed and art directed large-scale web projects for clients such as Coca-Cola and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. He designed corporate identities and websites and developed creative solutions for web applications and video projects. He is also a skilled illustrator and photographer offering technical 3d visualization and illustration.
When he is offline, Gary enjoys drawing, admiring antiques, and learning woodworking.
Gary graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
